From more than 4,000 workers in Raleigh to less than 100 in Wendell, Triangle towns and cities employ thousands of people to run our local governments.

Firefighters, police officers, clerks, groundskeepers and administrators are just a few of the positions that the public funds with their tax dollars.

Our priority is to make the workings of public agencies more transparent. Among the public records we regularly retrieve are employees’ salaries. For many years, we have published state government employee salaries.
