“He never let us see him upset, always choosing to uplift those around him with his positive spirit,” the fundraiser states.

Sunday’s shooting is the second fatal shooting at Patio Nightclub in less than a year. Christian Mercado, 24, was killed Aug. 9 after a Saturday night shooting at the club, The N&O previously reported. Jonathan David Bonilla-Ramos, 19, is charged with murder in that incident.

No arrests had been made in Sunday’s shooting as of Wednesday morning. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Raleigh Police Department at 919-996-3335 or visit Crimestoppers at www.raleighcrimestoppers.org to submit a tip online.
