Please list highlights of your civic involvement: I am active in the community in my role as a pastor. I have also volunteered for Samaritan’s Purse, participated in community work days, and built ramps for those who were unable to afford them. I also serve as the President of the Johnston County Wildlife Association.
What could you do, if elected, to help make the justice system more equitable or accessible?
Equal protection under the law means nothing if the judge who is applying the law refuses to follow the law. I will always follow the law and apply it without partiality.
Tell us about a specific event in your legal career of which you are most proud.
I am very proud of the work that I did when I was Lt. Gov. Dan Forest’s legal counsel. We were able to stand up for the rule of law and our principles. I am also proud of the many clients that I have helped overcome their legal issues over the years.
