What could you do, if elected, to help make the justice system more equitable or accessible?
It is critical to provide equal access and opportunity to all. I will conduct fair and impartial evaluations of each matter. I will work to consider appropriate resolutions of pretrial release weighing the safety of our general public against the effects of the conditions of release on the accused.
Tell us about a specific event in your legal career of which you are most proud.
In a federal voting rights case, I was involved in the creation of a new method to register to vote/update voter information electronically and such has had an impact in our state. I won an important criminal case in our Supreme Court on charging and prosecuting misdemeanors in district court.
