As Tropical Depression Debby rolls through the Carolinas, several counties across the region have been hit without power outages.

Thursday morning, Duke Energy reported more than 100,000 customers without power from Charlotte to the coast. By 9 p.m., that number had dropped to 26,160.

With Central North Carolina expected to see more impacts from the storm through the rest of the week, there could be even more outages.

Debby, categorized as a tropical storm most of Thursday, was downgraded to a tropical depression by late afternoon.

Here’s a snapshot of the latest outages in the Triangle area, as of 9 p.m.

Apex Electric Department

As of 7:30 p.m., the Town of Apex’s electric distribution system no longer reported any outages.

Duke Energy

As of 7:30 p.m., Duke Energy is reporting the following active outages in the following areas:

  • Chatham County: 51 active outages with 458 customers affected.

  • Durham County: 27 active outages with 1,415 customers affected.

  • Johnston County: 9 active outages with 429 customers affected.

  • Orange County: 59 active outages with 1,270 customers affected.

  • Wake County: 27 active outages with 430 customers affected.

Piedmont Electric Cooperative

As of 9 p.m., there are 11 active outages with 1,465 customers affected in the following areas:

  • Durham County: 10.3% currently out with 422 affected.

  • Orange County: 2% currently out with 295 affected.

  • Person County: 0.1% currently out with 1 affected.

South River Electric Membership Corporation

As of 9 p.m., there are outages in the following areas:

  • Harnett County: 0.1%

Wake Electric Membership Corporation

As of 9 p.m., there are 220 active outages in the following areas:

  • Granville County: 219 outages with 8,376 customers affected.

  • Vance County: 1 outage with 1,256 customers affected.
