There’s a soggy, storm-fueled forecast on the horizon for the Triangle.

With Debby expected to dump buckets of rain on the region, some local restaurants are taking precautions and closing their doors and altering operations. For some that means a night off, for others it means storm sales and discounts.

We’ll keep a running list of Triangle restaurants making changes for Debby, which was a tropical storm most of Thursday before being downgraded to a tropical depression late afternoon.

Raleigh/Durham restaurants closed Thursday

Andias: All locations. This popular collection of five ice cream shops are all closed Thursday, Aug. 8. (andiasicecream.com).

Boulevard West: 316 E Main Street, Clayton. This downtown Clayton coffee shop is closed Thursday, Aug. 8. (instagram.com/boulevard_west)

Boxyard RTP: 900 Park Offices Drive, Research Triangle Park. The common area of this shipping container collection of restaurants will be closed Thursday, Aug. 8. (boxyard.rtp.org)

Burney’s Sweets & More: 4500 Falls of Neuse Rd, Ste 100, Raleigh. This North Durham pastry shop will be closed Thursday, Aug. 8. (burneyssweetsandmore.com/raleigh)

The Can Opener: 201 S. Gregson Street, Durham. The new outdoor food truck bar The Can Opener will be closed Thursday, Aug. 8. But the breakfast food truck Queen Xpress will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. ( instagram.com/thecanopenerdurham)

Der Nachbar & Bottleshop: 4916 Hillsborough Rd STE A, Durham. This German beirgarten and bottle shop will be closed Thursday, Aug. 8. (dernachbardurham.com)

Eno River Brewing: 329 Allison Street, Hillsborough. The Hillsborough brewery located along the Eno River will be closed Thursday, Aug. 8. (enoriverbrewing.com)

Fullsteam RTP: 900 Park Offices Drive, Research Triangle Park. The RTP location of Fullsteam Brewery is closed Thursday, Aug. 8. But the Durham taproom will be open with trivia at 8 p.m. (fullsteam.ag)

Bowstring Pizza and Brewyard: 1930 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh. Bowstring has canceled concerts on Thursday, Aug. 8 (Arise Roots) and Friday, Aug. 9 (Rolling Stones Tribute). (bowstringbrewyard.com)

Pie Pushers: 117A W. Main St., Durham. This upstairs Durham pizzeria will close at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. (piepushers.com)

Raleigh/Durham storm discounts
