A popular burger chain is opening another Triangle location — and fans won’t have to wait for long.

Starting this month, Shake Shack will bring its menu of sandwiches, fries and milkshakes to the Raleigh suburb of Morrisville.

Here’s what the the burger joint said about the Morrisville location and its public grand-opening celebration, which is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13.

Shake Shack coming to Morrisville

Shake Shack is opening at the Park West Village shopping center, located off N.C. Highway 54 and a roughly 15-mile drive west from downtown Raleigh, The News & Observer previously reported.

Here are some key details about the new Shake Shack location:

  • Address: 1600 Village Market Place in Morrisville
  • Hours: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day

Park West Village in a Facebook post said fans can sign up for a Morrisville preview event, which is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12. To register, visit shakeshackmorrisvillefriendsfa.splashthat.com.

Then, the Morrisville location will be open to the public starting 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 13. That same day, the restaurant is set to offer giveaways to customers who arrive early.

“The first wave of guests can expect to receive custom Shake Shack totes and North Carolina-themed tumbler cups,” the chain wrote in a Tuesday, May 5 news release. “As part of our purpose to Stand for Something Good, Shake Shack will donate $1 for every sandwich sold at the Morrisville Shack on May 13 to Neighbor Up, supporting their work to equip and empower neighbors in need.”

The chain has a dozen other locations in North Carolina, including Cary, Chapel Hill, Holly Springs and Raleigh.

Other Morrisville shopping updates

Shake Shack is coming to the former home of Full Moon Oyster Bar & Seafood Kitchen, which left the space after 11 years. In January, nearby B&B Theatres closed its doors, The N&O previously reported.

These days, Park West Village is home to Target, Trader Joe’s and other major retailers. It welcomed Nordstrom Rack last spring, and Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar is scheduled to open at the shopping center on Monday, May 11, the plaza wrote on Facebook.
