A popular women’s clothing brand is opening its first Raleigh location soon, with a tech-driven experience in store for shoppers.

Reformation, known for its focus on sustainability, will be among the first retail tenants to open at North Hills in 2026.

The store in the Main District will feature the brand’s “Retail X,” which Reformation says creates a more streamlined, customer-centric shopping experience.

At North Hills, shoppers will find one of each item on the floor. They can build a dressing room digitally using touchscreens and QR codes throughout the store. Additional screens are in dressing rooms, so customers can request different sizes or styles as they try on pieces.

Raleigh’s Reformation, set to open Tuesday, Feb. 10, will feature items including dresses, separates, denim, outerwear, shoes and bags.

Located between J.Crew and Veronica Beard, this will be Reformation’s second location in North Carolina, following the Charlotte SouthPark store that opened in 2025.

Reformation’s sustainability practices

The Raleigh store’s design and building infrastructure incorporates Green Business Certification standards. Its electricity usage will be 100% offset with renewable energy.

Vintage furnishings and Forest Stewardship Council-certified wooden hangers will be used in the store. Shoppers can recycle used Reformation pieces in store and receive credit toward future purchases.

Reformation was founded in 2009 and now has more than 50 stores across the U.S., plus others in Canada, France and the United Kingdom.
